While visiting a market today, August 7, 2010 the Singapore Happy League (SHL) was created. The motto of the league is "Still Alive and Laughing" and the mission of the SHL is to serve the community and bring a smile to the faces of sorrowful-looking strangers. If today's adventures are any indication of the need to smile then we, the members of the SHL had a good start in fulfilling our mission. The smiles and giggles of the many strangers we encountered while traveling the MRT , roads, and buses of our little island, just went to show that we are still alive and laughing.
